Description
Fine blue-purple-blush Mid-Century Modern Murano faceted orb shaped block art glass vase in the style of Flavio Poli for Seguso. It’s hard to describe the beautiful way light refracts through this form. It is round in shape with flat sides. The two-color sommerso technique glass layers are most visible at the juncture of the round and the flat surfaces. It would function well as a vase or trinket, or pencil holder but we consider it a glass art sculpture. A gallery favorite when we can find them. This one is 4½ × 4½ × 4½ inches. Unmarked and undated. 3 lbs. / 1.4 kg. of art glass.
