A superb example of Hadeland Glassverk, the famed Norwegian maker in operation since 1762. This architectural design, executed in a deep charcoal gray, is by Severin Brørby. Signed on the bottom. It is 10.5 inches tall and weighs 3.1 lbs. It has a few fine scratches but no chips. This is a collector’s item.

“Glass blower and designer Peter Severin Brørby was employed by Hadeland Glassworks in 1956. With Willy Johansson and others he was responsible for the renewal of Norwegian art glass at Hadeland in the 1950s.” — The British Museum.
