Designed, hand-made, and signed by Valeriano Paz in a traditional shape in a pleasing matte black wax glaze painted with bold alternating stripes. The Chulucanas region of Peru in known for its fine folk pottery. They use a distinctive firing and glazing technique that yields very artistic results. Note: this piece is not water tight. It is meant for display or to hold dry or silk flowers. 6 inches tall.
