Description
This is an amazing bowl. It sparkles due to the “aventurine” silver inclusions embedded in dark purple-black cased glass. This technique was popularized by Alfredo Barbini in the 1950s. This is a perfect example of the style. Thick, heavy cased glass with one pinch. It weights 2.1 lbs and is 7.5 inches at the widest point. Sadly there is a chip on the top rim. It’s hard to see because it blends with the aventurine silver inclusions. Priced accordingly.
