Description
Superb green, cobalt blue, and clear faceted teardrop block art glass in the style of Flavio Poli for Seguso. It’s hard to describe the beautiful way light refracts through this form. It is round in shape with flat sides. The three-color sommerso technique glass layers are most visible at the juncture of the round and the flat surfaces. We display them as sculptures. They would function well as a vase or trinket holder too. A gallery favorite when we can find them. 7 inches tall. This example has one chip underneath the rim introduced when they cut the top during manufacture as seen in the photos. Priced accordingly.
