Description
Thoryn Ziemba (b. 1977) created this one-of-a-kind cubist vase in 2007. It features mouth-blown sommerso glass in cobalt blue with an ombre effect shading darker at the top. The form is asymmetrical soft edged shape with several hard edge facets. Really really nice. A few interior bubbles, signs of wear, but no chips, fogging, calcification or other major flaws. This is art glass at its best. A sculpture, not a vase. 11 inches tall and extremely heavy. Signed “Thoryn Ziemba ’07.”
