Description

A limited edition lithograph on Arches fine art paper signed in pencil by Camille Hilaire, 1965. Titled “A la recherche du paradis perdu” or “In search of the lost paradise.” It is marked “E/A for “Epreuve d’artiste” or “artist’s proof.” This artwork is similar in both style and theme to the large tapestry we have here. This print is vibrant and in very good condition considering its age. There is a small area of age-toning on the left side. The framed dimension is 30 × 36 inches.

Note: This image is a mockup of the litho framed in gold leaf. You may specify any frame color/style as this print is still unframed.

Camille Hilaire (1916–2004) was a Cubist painter and weaver from Metz, France. He produced a vast body of work: lithographs, paintings, architectural murals, and large wool tapestries.
