Description
Superb cobalt blue, gold, and clear faceted rectangular block art glass in the style of Flavio Poli for Seguso. It’s hard to describe the beautiful way light refracts through this form. It is square in shape with flat sides. The three-color sommerso glass layers are most visible at the juncture of the round and the flat surfaces. We display them as sculptures. They would function well as a vase or pencil holder too. A gallery favorite when we can find them. 8 inches tall. It is a contemporary reproduction of the classic Italian designs from the Mid-Century. The glassblower left noticeable bubbles and inclusions as seen in the photos. Priced accordingly. No chips.
