22-114 Dorfles Drawing 22×32 Poster

$595.00

Offered here is an archival pigment print reproduction made from the original 1955 litho, then adjusted to remove creases and considerable age-toning. It measures 22×32 inches as framed. It is in a handmade wood frame with gallery acrylic. Angelo “Gillo” Dorfles (1910-2018) was born in Italy and taught aesthetics at the University of Trieste in Milan. Dorfles founded the Concrete Art Movement with Bruno Munari and other prominent Italian modern artists. This group published an important portfolio of artist’s silkscreens and lithographs in the late 1950s. It appeared in the 1955-1956 edition of Documenti d’Arte d’Oggi, published in Milan by Groupe Espace.
