Published in 1873 by F. W. Beers Atlas of Long Island New York. Very detailed artwork that included landmarks, roads, streets and the names of property holders. Offered here is a gallery-quality archival pigment print in gray wood tone frame with gallery acrylic glazing 30 × 22 inches. The original map was hand-colored to indicate the Village boundaries. Towns depicted are Franklinville, Mattituck, Peconic, Southold, Greenport, East Marion, Orient, Oysterponds, Robins Island, Plum Island, Shelter Island—all along Peconic Bay with Long Island Sound to the North.
