22-388 Aron Wood Assemblage 1972

Offered here is an original painted wood assemblage by Michael Aron titled “Collage in Wood” 1972. It is 12¼ x 15¼ in a vintage matte black hardwood floater frame with a gold gilt edge. This artwork was done in high school shop class when I was 16. Both my father and my stepfather made similar wood assemblages, so one must assume I was influenced by their creativity. It is titled, signed and dated on the back (hidden by the frame now.)

Michael Aron studied art and design at the Wooster School in Ridgefield, CT; The Academy for Fine Art and Design in Genk, Belgium; Syracuse University; and got his BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC. He lives in Brooklyn and Greenport and is the proprietor of Ray New York.
