24-371 Vintage Taxco Oval Sterling Hinged Cuff

Famed Mexican silversmiths from Taxco designed this fabulous Mid-Century Modern hinged cuff. Hand-made from hammered high quality 925 sterling silver. Round shape with an oval interior. Minor wear from use. 35 grams. Inside diameter is approximately 7 inches… for the smaller wrist. Very nice patina.

Mid-Century Modern pioneer William Spratling founded his jewelry company in Taxco because the silver was very good quality and the labor was affordable. He led the modernist Mexican jewelry and tabletop design movement in the 1950s and 60s.
