Description

Josef Albers spent his adult life painting, documenting and writing about color in all of its variety and surprises. This work from 1964 is entitled Homage to the Square: Summer Noon.

Offered here is an offset reproduction of the original painting at a reduced size. It was printed in Germany on 100 lb. wove finish uncoated lithographic paper by Walther König. It is in a white acid-free mat, gallery glass face, and a slim white wood frame that measures 16¾ × 16¾ inches.
