Offered here is an original, signed color woodcut on paper by Hildegarde Haas (1926-2002). Her work appeared in “Young American Printmakers” at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 1953. She only made 57 woodcuts before switching to painting. Hildegarde Haas has work in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, Library of Congress, San Francisco Arts Commission, Seattle Museum of Fine Art, Dallas Museum of Fine Art, Worcester Art Museum, and the Cleveland Art Museum.

This work is matted in acid free white board, and framed in a vintage, period appropriate, rhythmically carved hardwood gilt frame with a museum glass face. The overall size is 23 × 30 inches. The print is signed in pencil and is #6 of 14 in the edition.
