This artwork is distinctive because of the way the pattern responds to the viewer’s eye. A sense of movement, an awareness of the near-perfect but also not-perfect design. Each one is an original watercolor painting on heavy watercolor paper. The paper is actually a postcard made by Strathmore to promote their fine papers. It is framed in warm gray hardwood and has a museum glass face.
Each artwork measures 6 x 9 inches and the frame measures 19 x 19 inches. The group of four as shown measures 38 x 38. They may be mounted in the horizontal orientation too. The artist, Leah Peeks, said the hanging orientation is up to the owner.
$400 per painting.
