After the original 1967 Greenport Theatre lobby card for Barefoot in the Park. Greenport is on Long Island, New York, locally known as the North Fork.
The vintage placards are silkscreen printed in small numbers on heavy card stock. Very few originals remain as they were considered disposable. They are the standard size, 14 x 22 inches, to fit displays that were installed in the theatre, in nearby restaurants, and on exterior walls around town. They were inserted into these standard frames and manually replaced whenever the movie changed.
Offered here is a fine art reproduction of the original poster printed on 100% rag archival paper to preserve it for decades to come. This version is 17½ x 25¼ in a custom white wood frame, ready to hang.
In this 1967 film based on a Neil Simon play, newlyweds Corie (Jane Fonda), a free spirit, and Paul Bratter (Robert Redford), an uptight lawyer, share a sixth-floor apartment in Greenwich Village.
