After the original 1953 Greenport Theatre poster. Greenport is on Long Island, New York locally known as the North Fork.
Lobby cards are composed in wood type and printed in small numbers on heavy card stock. Very few originals remain as they were considered disposable. They are 14 x 22 inches designed to fit displays that were installed in the theatre, in nearby restaurants, and on exterior walls around town. They were manually replaced whenever the movie changed.
Offered here is a fine art reproduction of the original poster printed on 100% rag archival paper to preserve it for decades to come. This version is 17½ × 25¼ in a custom white wood frame, ready to hang.
