Description
The Vigilant had a beam of over 26 feet and her draft was over 13 feet. The sail area was 11,272 square feet. The painting was by Melbourne Smith and was published in a wonderful 1970 book printed in Italy. Offered here is a bookplate from this volume in a vintage burled wood frame that measures 14½ × 14½ inches.
