Made in 2020 by Kate Eickelberg, Oakland, CA. 14k gold, 1 ¾ inches. These hand-forged hoop earrings are designed so the shape frames your face instead of just being visible from the side. The tension of the hammered wire keeps them on without the need for an additional security earring back. Kate earned a BFA in sculpture from Pratt Institute in 2007.
