24-115 Aron Original Abstract Painting Duet I 23 x 20

This painting by Michael Aron, titled “Duet I” is similar to a painting by my father Jon Aron. He was influenced by New York Abstract Expressionist artists that were exhibiting at the time when he was attending Pratt Institute in the mid-1950s. I made this painting as an homage to my father’s work, as well as the other AbEx leaders like Franz Kline, Mark Rothko, Willem de Kooning, Adolph Gottlieb, Clyfford Still, and Robert Motherwell. 23 x 20 inches in a vintage walnut frame. The frame show signs of wear.
