24-128 Bruce J. Bloom Framed Monotype 13 x 13

Amazing grid embossed abstract contemporary original monotype with découpage embellishment by Bruce J. Bloom. It measures 13 × 13 inches in a 2½-inch deep champagne tone aluminum shadow box with a gallery glass face. There is a repairable small water stain to the linen backing lower right.

Bloom (1935-2019) had a long career in advertising before turning his attention to painting and printmaking. He was a resident of the North Fork of Long Island, not far from our gallery. His work was varied, including abstract and figurative subjects. One commonality is a superb understanding of color and composition. We acquired his work directly from the estate.
