Offered here is a superb original lithograph by Camille Hilaire, signed lower right. It is print number 178 from an edition of 260. 30×38 inches. This original lithograph on Arches paper is in an 8-ply acid free mat framed in gloss white with gallery acrylic glazing. Camille Hilaire (1916–2004) was a Cubist painter and weaver from Metz, France. He produced a vast body of work: lithographs, paintings, architectural murals, and large wool tapestries. This print is from his river series done in the late 20th Century. We acquired it from the estate of the sculptor Audrey Tamny-Shulman.
