This fictional row of modest homes along a dock is based on real homes in Greenport, Shelter Island, and Nantucket. The fishing vessel is “Mattituck” docked here in Greenport out by the shipyard.

Michael Aron studied art and design at the Wooster School in Ridgefield, CT; The Academy of Fine Art and Design in Genk, Belgium; Syracuse University; and received his BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC. He is the proprietor of Ray New York.
