Magnificent color and confident brushwork make this 1950s abstract expressionist painting stand out. Unsigned, mystery artist. Oil on board, in its original black and gold leaf frame. We cleaned it, braced it, and added new hardware. Looks brand new except for the distressed portions of the frame, which adds charm. Condition is very good: there are no chips to the frame or paint loss. The board has warped slightly: our bracing from the back eliminated this condition. If it were to be re-framed, the same bracing should be used. Priced accordingly.
