Jax (Jacks) were a very very popular decor item in the Mid-Century. Offered here is a wonderfully distressed and quite large wooden jax painted in a deep gray blue. A very fine addition the a modern or a coastal design scheme. Age, maker origin all a mystery. Bill Curry / George Nelson started the whole trend.
