A boldly graphic hand painted design encircles the corpus of this stout vessel. The line work is executed in thick rusticated fat lava glaze over smooth satin finish textured caramel color glaze. A decorator’s dream. This one has a highly arched handle much like Scandinavian pottery by Carl Harry Stålhane.
It has the usual West Germany mark on the bottom and its original sticker. This label design was used from 1968 until 1980. It is 6¼ inches tall and is glazed on the interior in black. Excellent unused condition. Made by Scheurich Keramik. We recommend grouping West German pottery so look at our other listings.
