Description
A boldly graphic hand painted design encircles the corpus of this stout vessel. The line work is executed in thick rusticated fat lava glaze over smooth satin finish textured caramel color glaze. A decorator’s dream. This one has high shoulders, a tapered corpus, and a flared neck terminating in a plain mouth. It has the usual West Germany mark on the bottom. Circa 1968 – 1980. It is 7 inches tall and is glazed on the interior in black. Excellent unused condition. Made by Scheurich Keramik.
