Description
Offered here is a small Suprematist acrylic on board done in 2020 by Michael Aron. 13 x 16 in a white vintage hardwood frame.
Inspired by “Pro dva kvadrata. Suprematicheskii skaz v 6-ti postroikakh (Of Two Squares: A Suprematist Tale in Six Constructions)” a 1922 children’s book about a black square and a red square that fly to earth from afar by El Lissitzky.
Aron studied art and design at the Wooster School in CT, The Academy for Fine Art & Design in Belgium, Syracuse University, and got his BFA from the Cooper Union in NYC.
