Description
Per Lütken, Holmegaard’s art director, designed this gorgeous small bud vase. Signed “Holmegaard PL 15731.” Mouth blown in Denmark, 1950s. Fabulous Smoke color and well-executed free-form biomorphic shape. The overall shape is almost round but not quite. 3.5 inches tall. 8 lbs / .4 kg of art glass.
This piece has visible water calcification on the interior. I was not successful removing it due to the narrow opening. There’s also a fleabite on the bottom non-visible base edge. It does not detract from the presentation or usefulness of this collectible. Priced accordingly.
