Description
Offered here is a great piece of 1960s vibe blown art glass from Empoli, Italy. It features the sommerso technique of glassmaking in a vivid green-to-dark-green ombre layer, then a pink-to-purple layer, then a thick clear crystal bottom. It stands 21 inches tall with the stopper. It has an almost flat flared lip.
It features a molded flame stopper that is not original to the main piece. However the size and color are perfect.
It has a 1950s Empoli-style shield sticker on the bottom but the lettering has faded off. Super clean inside. It weighs in at 4.2 lbs. No chips or cracks. A few tiny scuffs on the bottom from use.
