Description
Per Lütken, Holmegaard’s art director, designed this stunning large console bowl in 1957 and it is still in production today. “Selandia” handmade in Denmark. Fabulous Smoke color and well-executed free-form biomorphic shape. The overall shape is almost round but not quite. This pristine vintage example is over 13 inches at the widest point and sits on a regal high slender tapered base. Signed including the item #14595. It is not dated. It has no scratches, chips, or cracks except the bottom which has the typical faint scratches from use.
