Description
This form was popularized in the late 1950s by the famous Murano, Italy maker Mandruzzato. This one is a beauty. It is square at the mouth then expands into a multi-sided block cut into faceted planes. This design catches the light thereby appearing differently depending on the setting. It is medium gray colored crystal sommerso, with a thick clear crystal base. It catches light in all the right ways. The edges are crisp and the crystal is very clear. It is 7 inches tall. Unmarked and undated. 1.5 lbs. It has a small chip that does not detract from the beauty, utility or functionality. Priced accordingly.
