Description
Superb blue, green, and clear Mid-Century Modern style faceted art glass vessel popularized by Flavio Poli of Seguso, Murano, Italy. It’s hard to describe the beautiful way light refracts through this form. It is round on the top with flat sides. The tri-color sommerso technique glass layers are most visible at the juncture of the round and the flat surfaces. It would function well as a vase or trinket, or pencil holder but we consider it a glass art sculpture. A gallery favorite when we can find them. 4¾ inches tall. Unmarked and undated. 3½ lbs.
