Description
Scandinavian glass design at its finest. This trio of vases were designed by, and signed by Bengt Orup (1916-1996). He was the artistic director of Johansfors (Sweden) glassworks in the Mid-Century. This line was called “Tona” for obvious reasons. The coloration fades from a deep teal-blue-gray to clear, at about the midsection. The slender form is particularly attractive. Circa 1957. Sold as a trio.
