Description
Offered here is a set of five antique foundry molds arranged as wall sculpture entitled “Found Round” by Michael Aron 2020. Machine Age wooden foundry molds (1877-1920) are carved to form negative space for metal casting with handles to hold during production. The mold is pressed into sand, removed, then molten metal is poured into the resulting void. Hangs horizontally or vertically with a total width of 66 inches.
