Description
Block is a top producer of crystal based in Poland. They collaborate with other makers around the globe and this is one of the best results. Made in Argentina by skilled craftsman, this mouth blown, lead-free, hand-cut beauty is called “Seville, San Carlos Collection.” This design was retired in 2001. Amazingly thick, pristine crystal forms flared tulip shape with a narrow profile and a flat cut top. Sommerso technique allowing for a clear base. Bauhaus style in deep purple nearly black. Slight wear from use on the bottom and a few faint scratches. It is 9 x 7 x 3 inches. Acid-etched maker’s mark “Block” on bottom.
