From the artist: “The inspiration for this body of work was a picture of my shadow pushing my twin’s stroller. ‘Stroller-o-ptera’ is an autoschediastic word pursuant to Lepidoptera an order of insects that include butterflies. The notion of transformation is inherent to butterflies and motherhood is a transformative experience. In addition the process of paper cutting transform the paper to a lace like surface.” 10 x 10 inch artwork in a custom silvered frame.
