Porcelain butter or appetizer plate in the “Delphis” pattern for Poole Pottery, England. Vivid warm yellow background with colorful hand-painted abstract design in a glossy glaze. Marked on the white underside. Produced in the early 1970s. It is in very good condition, no chips or cracks. 7 inches wide. Poole pioneered the application of this glaze which bleeds from one color into the next—therefore each hand-painted piece by Poole is unique.
