Description
An original polymer painting on canvas by Michael Aron, 2021, titled “Look Up.” It depicts an abstracted view looking up at the skyscrapers on Park Avenue, NYC. It was inspired by a 1929 poster by Alexander Rodchenko “The man with the movie camera.” I’ve included an image of this poster for reference.
The overall size is 17×41 as float framed in warm silver with black edges.
Michael Aron studied art and design at the Wooster School in Ridgefield, CT; The Academy for Fine Art and Design in Genk, Belgium; Syracuse University; and got his BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC. He lives in Brooklyn and Greenport and is the proprietor of Ray New York.
