Description
A wheel-engraved crystal bowl circa 1930s-1940s by the Kjellander Workshop of Sweden. 6 inches in diameter. Slight wear to base. The design features an Art Deco style nude held aloft by a stylized wave. The Kjellander brothers, Nils and Åke, were fourth generation engravers. Their father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all began as engravers at Kosta Glassworks. The Kjellanders brothers, along with their father, Lars Johan, opened up their own shop in 1924 and stayed in business until 1983.
