23-135 Steinberg “View of the World from 9th Avenue” Poster

“View of the World from 9th Avenue” is arguably Saul Steinberg’s most recognizable work. It appeared as a cover of The New Yorker in 1976. They produced a poster of it, also in 1976. This is the vintage offset lithographic poster 29½ × 42½ inches. It shows a little sign of handling in the lower right corner that could be covered by the mat or frame. No tears or other blemishes. We’re offering it here unframed. Add $300 for a frame.

Saul Steinberg remains a hero of mine. He lived near me on Union Square in NYC and spent his later years near me in East Hampton. He had a tremendous influence on my art.
