23-178 Abstract 1975 Azar Wood Block Print

Abstract woodcut. Club de Grabado de Montevideo distributed prints by well-known artists as part of a government program to increase awareness of art and culture. These limited edition wood block prints are now collector’s items. Montevideo is the capital of Uruguay and was a meeting place for abstract artists many of whom were trained in Europe. This original print measures 20×16 inches as framed in matte black aluminum. It is by Salomón Azar and is untitled. Printed in Uruguay, 1975. Marked with the edition number 2672/3000.
