23-197 Rare Palshus Denmark Haresfur Vase

This rare example of art pottery by Palshus is in pristine condition. It stands 9.5 inches tall and is 3.5 inches wide. The mouth is formed with a broad inner rim. It is signed “Palshus Denmark PL-S 1210.” The color is a soft sage green, not the more common browns or olives. It is extremely hard as a result of the high temperature firing and amazing haresfur glaze. The glazed interior is in a slightly more teal color. A real collector’s piece. Per and Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt founded Palshus in Denmark in 1947. Circa 1950s.
