23-351DC Spinnerin 1960s Needlepoint Artwork

Fabulous Modernist abstract design executed in needlepoint. This item was hand-made in wool yarn from a kit sold by Spinnerin in the 1960s. It was designed by Lu Ambler titled “Study in Orange,” item #NP 148. Whoever made this item decided to hang it upside down. We agree. Two small areas of worn wool, otherwise good vintage condition. Original frame shows signs of time. 16×13 inches. Note: we’re including pictures of the kit just for reference.
