Exhibition poster featuring “Le Violon” woodcut by Félix Édouard Vallotton. Superb example of an artist using negative space in his composition. Poster by Cabinet des Estampes, Geneva, Switzerland. Exhibit title “oeuvre gravé” (engravings). Date 1971. Size 25×38 inches. One color lithograph or silkscreen print on darker laid art paper. Hand-carried back from Switzerland in 1973.
