24-046 Tri-color Sommerso Art Glass Bud Vase

Superb amber, blue, and clear art glass bud vase in the style of Antonio Da Ros for Cenedese & Co. It’s hard to describe the beautiful way light refracts through this form. It is round with a chimney shape neck. A blue layer, encased in amber, then encased in clear crystal. Fabulous. 6 inches tall. Unsigned, undated. Our glass blowing expert says it is art glass done by an artisan in the late 20th Century, not an old Cenedese piece. There’s a glass-blowing flaw on the bottom rim where the edge is slightly warped by heat.
