Offered here is an original 1990 lithograph on Arches paper by Pierre Boncompain. It is from a collection of poems by André Gide entitled “Les Nourritures Terrestres. (The Fruits of the Earth)” illustrated by Boncompain. This image depicts a napping figure cooled by the ocean breeze blowing through an open window adorned with a pitcher and a bowl of fruit. This fine art print has been float mounted to reveal the deckle edge and framed in black/oak wood with a generous 8-ply mat and gallery acrylic glazing. 23 × 28 inches. Unsigned. There is a slight soft crease across the middle. Priced accordingly.
