24-105 Aron Painting Abstract Red Sun 26 x 30

An original polymer painting on board by Michael Aron, 2024, titled “Red Sun”. The overall size is 26×30 inches as framed in gold leafed wood. This design concept was borrowed from a 1970s vase by Lapid Pottery Works, Israel. Perhaps they were influenced by Henri Matisse’s cut-outs and Adolph Gottlieb’s abstract compositions from the early 1960s.

Michael Aron studied art and design at the Wooster School in Ridgefield, CT; The Academy of Fine Art and Design in Genk, Belgium; Syracuse University; and received his BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC. He is the proprietor of Ray New York.
