24-209 Mutsumi Morita Editioned 1969 Serigraph 22 x 28

A gallery favorite: very graphic depiction of a regatta titled “Two Sails” (in pencil lower left, in Japanese), edition number 41/55, signed “M. Morita” and dated 1969. Mutsumi Morita (b. 1935) has work in the Ringling Museum in Sarasota FL, and is in many private collections. We re-framed it using gallery acrylic glazing and an extra-heavy 8-ply acid-free mat. The moulding is black wood edged with walnut. 22 x 28 inches. This original vintage print appears to be a silkscreen using very thick ink, however it may also be a wood block print. Morita was best-known for his wood block prints.
