Offered here is a superb original circa 1960s lithograph by Camille Hilaire. It is signed and numbered lower left. 40×32 inches as framed. This original lithograph on Arches paper is in an 8-ply acid free mat that reveals the deckle edge, and framed in gloss white with crystal clear gallery acrylic glazing. There is considerable age-toning to this print already so it will not darken more.

Camille Hilaire (1916–2004) was a Cubist painter and weaver from Metz, France. He produced a vast body of work: lithographs, paintings, architectural murals, and large wool tapestries. This print “Regates” (Fr. “Regatta”) is similar his work from the 1960s and 1970s. He often painted scenes of harbors, beachgoers, and sailing vessels.
